MSA is a full service Architecture Firm with Architectural Registration in Kentucky. James McKay has over 30 years experience in the Architecture / Construction business.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I decided to be an Architect in the 9th grade, interested in the concept of creating the spaces and structures we live and work in. I continued my education at the University of Kentucky College of Architecture, and have worked in Lexington since graduation in 1978.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
MSA provides clients with a personal involvement from the firm's principal from beginning to end of each project, drawing on past experience working with larger Architectural Firms on projects ranging from residential to $80 million commercial projects.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
MSA has an office at 513 Retrac Road in Lexington, KY. I expect to expand the staff, but not add any additional offices.

We can provide Architectural services for the entire state of Kentucky, along with the ability to do work in other states through reciprocity by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board certification.
